Bikes & Parts - Orro Aira

In a nutshell:

This is what we'd call a performance/sportive bike - which means it's more comfortable than an out-and-out speed machine, but it still performs admirably.

Who's it for:

A great choice for cyclists who want a competitive edge for their race cycle.

Available Versions:

These are two brake system/wheel combinations available. Contact us to talk over which version will be best for you and your riding.

  • Aira/Fulcrum Racing Sport Wheelset (£1,399)
  • Aira/3T Orbis Wheelset (£1,499)

Price:

Prices for the Orro Aira range from £1,399 to £1,499 depending on the wheelset you opt for.

This price includes a comprehensive bike fitting, and your new bike's first service and our Rider Care package.*.

The underlying approach:

This is a short and relatively stiff frame with a 933mm wheelbase and 73 degree head angle. In practice, this makes for precise handling - whether you're racing or not.

The oversized frame tube profiles and the built-up bottom bracket help ensure a good power transmission.

Technical background:

The short, stiff frame design helps your to ride hard and fast, while the stability of the Aira means you can be assured riding up or down hill.

Equipped with the Shimano 105 groupset, which is widely - and justifably - applauded, there's a lot to like about the Aira. The gear shifting is reliably predictable and the brakes confidence-inspiringly sure.

Available with either the Fulcrum Racing Sport or 3T Orbis wheelset, shod with 25c tyres and with all the finishing touches by 3T and Prologo - all in all this is an enviable bike.
